Competition rules
A level for wherever you are.
The UCG MAG Rules Team exists to develop rules and educational resources that make MAG competition fun, inclusive, accessible, and rewarding for everyone. By supporting gymnasts and judges with clear communication, consistent standards, and innovative approaches to competition, we seek to strengthen community and camaraderie while encouraging the growth and continued participation of MAG athletes at every level.
MAG competition offers three levels — Developmental, Intermediate, and Advanced. We start from the World Gymnastics Code of Points, then add our own modifications and our own list of member submitted skills that count in UCG and nowhere else. So you can build a routine for whatever level you’re competing at.

Developmental
New gymnasts. Structure, safety, basic skill development.
Intermediate
Some experience. Also where WAG gymnasts competing MAG usually start.
Advanced
Prior competitive experience. Matches the GymACT rules.
