UCG Scholarships
Applications open in March 2027.
For undergraduates
Every year, undergraduate scholarships help gymnasts keep competing while they study. This year there are three awards — the Spirit of Leadership Scholarship, the Underrepresented Athlete Scholarship, and the Rainbow Scholarship — each worth $2,000 toward tuition. Applications for the 2027–2028 school year will open in March 2027, with a deadline of June 19, 2027.
Recognizes undergraduate gymnasts who exemplify leadership, initiative, and a deep commitment to strengthening the community. The selection process is designed to be fair, transparent, and inclusive — reflecting the many ways leadership shows up across the organization.
Any incoming or current full-time undergraduate gymnast with demonstrated leadership, who will be an undergraduate student and actively participate for the duration of the scholarship period.
Aims to reduce barriers for athletes who are underrepresented in the sport to attend college and participate in gymnastics.
Any incoming or current undergraduate student who identifies as from a racial/ethnic group underrepresented in four-year colleges/universities — including, but not limited to, Black/African American, Native American/Alaskan Native, Hispanic/Latino, and/or Native Hawaiian/Asian/Pacific Islander students — and who is or plans to be an active participant for the duration of the scholarship period.
Supports LGBTQ+ undergraduates who exemplify a passion for gymnastics and a commitment to creating inclusive spaces within the sport and beyond. Recipients are selected based on involvement in gymnastics, commitment to LGBTQ+ representation, and leadership inside and outside the gym.
Any incoming or current full-time undergraduate gymnast who identifies as part of the LGBTQ+ community — including, but not limited to, individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer — actively participating for the duration of the scholarship period.
